Thanks to all of your thoughts and prayers, Dad has come home from Mary Washington. While there, once again he received excellent care and the family would like to express our gratitude for caring for him.
He is resting today and needs to catch up on some sleep, but he has been very happy hearing from all of you. Dad is on Hospice care now and they will be helping the family with day to day things and helping Mom out with the evenings.
Hospice will be coming in a couple of times a week to test his vitals and he has all of the equipment he needs to be comfortable.

My husband is a police officer in Las Vegas, NV and I find it horrific that a department could do something like this to one of their own over money. They will take an officer and use him up, and when he is no longer of any use to them, for whatever reason, they will just spit him out. They have no compassion for this officer or his family, only the "bottom line". It's the
ReplyDeletealmighty dollar that wins out again. The dollar over the human being. What a sad commentary to our society. How low we have sunk. I, for one, am so sorry Officer Ludwig. If only that could actually help in some way.
